Degree Show 2025 Concept:
The Idea Industry
Many art ceremonies focus on the final product and neglect the skills and processes learnt to achieve that final piece.
This was project pitch, in collaboration with Buckwell_Designs , to brand the LJMU Degree show. We wanted to present skills that us indie creatives have developed, over the course, as abstract processes, using a light-hearted tone, to demonstrate creative practice through animated and vibrant branding.
We chose to represent the design through bold colours and a strong cel-shaded aesthetic, because we wanted to celebrate the ambitious creativity of young, independent artists. With a focus on physics (fashion), art style (fine art), 3D design (architecture) and animation (graphic design and illustration) to represent the 4 main branch courses in the art department.
